It’s been a strange and melancholic day, though not without fun. It started off with us trying on our packs. My full pack weighs 8.6 kg, So I didn’t lose quite enough to compensate for it. Rich has also lost 6kg (in a small part thanks to Covid), so he’s now in ideal weight range. His pack is 9.6kg however.
Yvonne came round to collect some gear to take on for us and gave us HocWalkers a Boofle as a companion, as every expedition has to have a dog.
It’s really late (early?) and we need to start tomorrow before it gets too hot, so time for a final sleep in our own bed.
